The best Palm Treo ever (in my opinion) is the 750, and I am happy to announce the release of an interesting accesory at CTia: the new GPS Navigator Car Kit. The GPS is built into the mount of a suction support and it uses a DSP to improve sound quality. The GPSchipset is the SiRFStar III and it includes TomTom 6 on a 1GB SD cardwith maps of the USA and Canada.
Since Windows Vista came out, Palm users have been desperately looking for a solution or drivers for their devices, especially LifeDrive users. Can we expect Palm to release them soon? I hope so. In the meantime all we can do is check the Palm compatibility site and enjoy this picture.
One more week without the Treo

Man, what a week. Remember how I told you that I was missing a lot my broken Treo? Well, I just couldn't stand it and I called Vodafone and they told that it should be back to store (no clues if refurbished) on April the 2nd. Too bad that I live in a small city.
This week has been horrible without the Treo, no way to set up appointments on the go, no way to know what Todos were overdue... horrible. I was almost wondering if getting a Blackberry in the meantime just for testing :P

I have just come accross this article over at CNET which defines the critic situation Palm is living now. Even though sales are growing, they are growing much slower than the market does.
Todd Kort, analyst with Gartner defined it this way: "The problem is that the Palm product is relatively old, the design has not changed substantially since September 2003 with the Treo 600," and then "But that's a bad thing in a fast-moving industry like this where we've moved to thinner and cheaper devices. The Treo is looking fat, heavy and expensive."

Health and Diet Manager eliminates the mystery behind nutritional facts for common foods as well as food eaten at commercial restaurants.
It comes with an extensive food database which includes menus from various popular restaurant chains (i.e. McDonalds, Burger King, Subway, etc.).
This helpful program does everything from tracking your health-related vitals (resting pulse, blood pressure, hours slept), calories consumed and calories expended, to helping you create an action plan for eating and exercising.
The program has been updated to version 2.61, don't miss the What's new tab
There is a thrilling thread on the discussion forum of our sister site palManiac about the fact of using a multipen instead of the conventional stylus. What do you think? Personally, from my point of view it depends a lot if I am using the Treo for leisure or at work.
While working I always carry with me a 4-in-1 stylus that I use on the Treo, LifeDrive and Samsung Q1.

A few days ago we where under the Oh-my-God process when we spotted a Proporta 2000 mHa battery keeping the same battery size (see picture below). Unfortunately, it was a typo as Proporta has corrected the description and now we can read: "This battery is physically thicker than the standard battery, but it comes with a replacement "extended" battery cover."
