Over the years I have been trying to find the best device that you could carry in your pocket and surf the web on the go. I have tested Palm, Windows Mobile and Blackberry devices and most of them are just perfect (especially the Blackberry) for PIM purpouses but I have never found such a great browser as Safari. No more mobile versions, everything will do with Safari and the new apps released by Apple (IMHO it's a well spent money) will increase the functionallity of the device a lot.

Windows Mobile users have now a good chance to test in my opinion one of the best browsers ever with this new Technical Preview v3.4 of Netfront. There are nice new features such as PagePilot which will enable you to see the whole page and zoom in the part you want to view. Also there is a new feature that remind us a lot Apple's Cover Flow: you will now preview your bookmarks. Nice.
The best PIM for WinMo devices is now on version 2.0

AgendaOne is by far the best PIM I have ever tested on every platform and now has been upgraded to version 2. It seems that the upgrade worths a test so go and click to check what's new. AgendaOne has been awarded as the Best Life Management Application by Handango.

According to Engadget this October we will see finally a new Treo running the so awaited Linux on a Wind RIver platform. There are no much details around, but let's hope it will include finally WiFi and a thiner form factor!

Engadget is informing surprisingly that Elevation Partners a firm founded by Bono and a group of former Apple executives will purchase a 25% stake of Palm. Among the incoming board members we can find Jon Rubinstein, so we can expect huge news as far as hardware is concerned.

I had that fiasco sensation when I've seen Foleo for the very first time: I am sure it is a lovely device and that will work flawlessly but, what is the point of having a mini Laptop which is not a laptop substitute? Honestly, I prefer having a more capable UMPC or even a convertible which will allow me to use much more tasks and with a more open environment. I can't see the market for this device. Let's hope Palm recovers the Treo path and surprise us (at once) with a Linux-WiFi Treo

sgbmad from our sister site palManiac had the chance to attend a Windows Mobile 6 workshop which took place in Madrid and got the confirmation that Windows Mobile 6 for the Treo 750 would be released in June. Not sure if this date is restricted only for Europe-Vodafone of for all carriers worldwide. He had the chance of playing with WM6 on the Treo and found it really snappy.
